Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a mass balance and torque balance of a cold pilger mill with a simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission gear formed of cranks 7 and balance masses is divided into two transmission gear parts which are arranged in a mirror image to a plane which vertically intersects a roil axis 10. The transmission gear parts are arranged beneath a roiling plane and are connected to each other via shafts 15a, 15b of a power transmission system consisting of a motor 12, clutch 13 and bevel gear 14, the rotary shafts of both transmission gear parts are horizontally parallel arranged to each other, and the cranks 7 of two transmission gear parts are rotated in opposite directions to each other other.
