To provide a method to remove burrs when a wire is cold-welded with pressure.
A die 6 to weld a wire with pressure is built in between a movable V block 9 and a fixed V block 10. The die comprises four die pieces, and the movable V block 9 is pressed against the fixed V block to weld the wire to be held by the die pieces. A pressure-welded part of the wire is compressed by the die pieces. An insertion plate 7 is held between two die pieces. When the die 6 is compressed, the die pieces holding no insertion plate 7 hold the wire while the rest of two die pieces do not hold the wire. Thus, the die pieces holding the wire are moved to the side of the die pieces holding no wire. The wire is also moved to the side of the die pieces in which the insertion plate is not held, and burrs are pressure welded and removed by the die pieces.
