Abstract:
To provide a cold-retaining agent that can be used for cold-retaining at ultralow temperature (-70°C or less).SOLUTION: The cold-retaining agent according to one embodiment contains methanol. In one example, the cold-retaining agent further contains water, and the mass of the methanol in the mass of the water and the methanol is 40% or more. In one example, the mass of the methanol in the mass of the water and the methanol is 60% or less. In one example, the mass of the water and the methanol in the mass of the cold-retaining agent is 90% or more. In one example, the cold-retaining agent further contains xanthan gum.
