Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain chattering phenomenon that is the fine waviness of steel strip that is generated when a stainless steel strip is rolled with a 20 stages Sendzimir mill without increasing the number of processes.
CONSTITUTION: When the stainless steel strip S is cold rolled with the 20 stages Sendzimir mill 1, the roll with the surface roughness Ra of ≤0.1μm is used for at least one of 2nd upper intermediate driving rolls 4a, 4b and 2nd lower intermediate driving rolls 4a', 4b'.
