Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of a plate thickness in the plate width direction, and to attain a cold rolled steel strip with a few yield losses.
CONSTITUTION: When performing the cold rolling of a steel strip by arranging a work roll with a single taper at least on a first stand of a tandem mill, the work roll whose tan θ of inclined angle in a taper part is 1/600 or over is used, and the roll shift of the taper shoulder part of the work roll is performed within the range of 50 to 90mm from the plate end of a rolling stock to be rolled.
