Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cold seal adhesive which can form an adhesive layer having at least one advanced property selected from orderlessness, rich luster, the improvement in the productivity of information carrier, the easy lamination of an information carrier to a substrate sheet only by pressurization, decrease in changes of adhesivity with the passage of time, and the improvement in peelability of the information carrier from developing side of the substrate sheet.
SOLUTION: This hot melt type cold seal adhesive is characterized by containing a component (A): at least one resin selected from olefinic resins, and a component (B): at least one wax selected from waxes having softening points of 80 to 170°C. The glass transition temperatures of the olefinic resins is preferably ≤-10°C. The cold seal adhesive preferably further contains (C) a component: at least one resin selected from tackifying resins.
