The low-temperature storage facilities are equipped with a pair of front and rear outer walls 4 provided with a plurality of opening parts for doorways in a line, a large number of outer shell bodies 5 which are installed between both the outer walls 4 and composed of arch-like structures connected to each of the opening parts, ice manufacture water tanks 24 arranged under the bottoms of floor slabs 21 on which the outer shell bodies 5 are placed, sealing storage tanks 6 of opening and closing type which are concentrically inside the outer shell bodies 5 in the length direction of the outer shell bodies and provided with transportation routes 28 at the centers, covering soil 7 for covering each of the outer shell bodies between the outer walls 4, accumulated or removed snow 8 piled and arranged on the covering soil 7 and a large number of air ducts 26 for freezing the covering soil, which are embedded and piped in the covering soil 7 and introduce open air.
