Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the building cost of a cold water tower capable of preventing white smoke from being produced, and miniaturize the same.
SOLUTION: All water sprinkling holes 6 communicated with a wet/dry type changeover region 18 are divided into the shape of the teeth of a comb with a partition plate 23 meandering in a warm water tank 5 and are opened into a common defined region 24, and water sprinkling headers 29 extending along a supply passage 27 and having many water sprinkling holes 28 in a lower surface of the same opened substantially over the entire longitudinal region thereof on the supply passage 27 communicated with a plurality of lines of distribution passages 26 formed as a dead-end street alternately deeply entering through the partition plate 26 in the region 24 and in a water storage region 25 other than the region 24 and extending in the direction where each passage 26 is arranged. Further, a warm water supply pipe 30 is connected with one end of the header 29 located on the side of the region 25 for supplying warm water 7, and a branch pipe 31 branching off from the supply pipe 30 is connected with the one end of the header 29 located on the side of the region 24 such that it interrupts distribution of the warm water 7 properly.
