Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold water tower in which a filling material is supported in succession while keeping upper and lower stage wet/dry type changeover regions insulated from a wet type region at all times.
SOLUTION: A cold water tower is adapted such that a filling material 12 is disposed up and down into a multiple stages by mutually corresponding positions of a wet type region 17 and a wet/dry type changeover region 18 at all times, and an intermediate warm water tank 19 having many water sprinkling holes 20 opened in a bottom thereof is provided between the upper and lower filling materials 12, and there are further provided insulating plates 21, 22 on upper and lower surfaces of the bottom of the intermediate warm water tank 19 for communicating continuously the upper and lower stage wet/dry type changeover regions 18 by surrounding the water sprinkling holes 20 serving to communicate the upper and lower stage wet/type changeover regions 18, and furthermore a pedestal 31 for a water communication structure is provided on the bottom upper surface of the intermediate warm water tank 19 for bottoming up and supporting a lower end of the filling materials 12 forming the upper stage side always wet type region 17.
