Abstract:
To provide a water cooler/heater combined type fuel cell system capable of continuing heat recovery from an off gas by switching an absorption/desorption process of an adsorption type water cooler/heater at a proper timing.SOLUTION: A water cooler/heater combined fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 2; a water cooler/heater 5 having two adsorption/desorption units 51, a condenser 53, and an evaporator 52, and producing cold water by the evaporator 52; hot water production means 3 producing hot water by using an off-gas generated in the fuel cell as a heat source; a cooling tower 6 for cooling cooling-water; a hot water circuit for circulating hot water between the hot water production means 3 and the absorption/desorption units 51; a cooling water circuit for circulating the cooling water between the cooling tower 6 and the absorption/desorption units 51; switching means 8 for switching the adsorption/desorption process; and a control portion 10. The control portion 10 monitors a heat input quantity per unit time to the absorption/desorption units 51 in the desorption process state, and controls the switching means 8 to switch a process state when a value of the heat input quantity is less than a predetermined required value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
