Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapse prevention structure of a spherical tank, preventing buckling of support columns caused by an earthquake, strong wind, tsunami or the like, and preventing secondary disaster such as piping damage and fire occurrence caused by the collapse of the tank, with simple structure and easy construction work, and to provide a forming method of the collapse prevention structure.SOLUTION: The collapse prevention structure of a spherical tank is formed with: concrete foundation 7 provided at the inner side from the support columns 5 of the spherical tank 1 and right under a spherical shell body 4; and a cylindrical receiving part 8 erected by abutting on an upper face of the concrete foundation 7 with a flange part and by fixed with anchor bolts 10 and supported by making the spherical shell body 4 abut on an upper edge without fixation thereof, or disposed in a separated state.
