Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it excellent in external appearance when not used, and also any separated locking device unnecessary.
SOLUTION: This cup holder is equipped with a plastic mounting base plate 1, a plastic ring body 2 being supported on top of this mounting base plate and rotating in space between a horizontal spreading position and a vertical folding position, and a plastic lid body 3 being supported on a lower part of the mounting base plate and rotating in space between the horizontal spreading position and the vertical folding position, respectively. In this constitution, a cam face part 11 slidably and elastically contacting with a tip edge 2a of the ring body is formed on an inner surface at the base end side of the lid body, and it is so constituted to impart a mobile force to the lid body in both the spreading and folding directions by the slide motion of the tip edge of the ring body in relation to the cam face part with rotation of the lid body, whereby a holding state of the lid body stored with the ring body inward is surely maintainable. In addition, in this folding state, the mounting base plate side and the ring body both are concealed to the full by the lid body.
