A tent frame element 1 to pull and support tent cloth from the whole sides has plural rods having engaging projections to engage with a leaf spring on both ends, a hinge type straight line joint B having a fixing sleeve, a hinge type bending joint C and a grounding tool A to constitute the lowest end part of the frame element 1. A lower part of the frame element 1 existing under the bending joint C functions as a column, and an upper part of the frame element 1 existing above the bending joint C functions as a rafter of a tent.
