Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily keep a gate leg type table without requiring any large space by making the two legs of the main body of the table individually collapsible.
CONSTITUTION: A table is provided with a beam 10 made of a thin galvanized corrugated sheet 12 having vertical side plates and continuous hinges 16 are fitted to the vertical side plates at both ends of the beam 10. The hinges 16 are respectively connected to C-type leg sections 18. The leg sections 18 at both ends are equally made, directed in opposite directions, and are respectively provided with vertical columnar legs 20. Upper supporting arms 32 and supporting legs 34 are protruded outward from the legs 20 and the hinges 16 are arranged along the upper edge of the beam 10 and firmly fixed to the rear side surface 40 of a table top 40. Each leg section 18 is fitted to the beam 10 with one hinge 16 and can be folded inward from an elongated state. In addition, the table top 40 can also be folded by using the hinges 16. Therefore, the table can be kept without requiring any large space.
