PURPOSE: To remove an excess washing water without trouble and also, to enable to pass urine through an adsorbent after removing an alien substance completely, by providing conical inner lid made of porous material in the upper part of adsorbent packed column and moreover, providing funnel-shaped upper lid attached exit opening surrounding the top of the inner lid, in the upper part of the inner lid.
CONSTITUTION: The adsorbent 1 is packed in the cylindrical column 2 providing the net 3 for maintaining adsorbent at the bottom and the sieving plate 4 is placed in this apparatus equipped on urine discharging pipe of lavatory in station or public lavatory. The conical inner lid 6 made of metal or synthetic resin, having a good liquid permeability and also, having the small perforation 10 at the central part, is provided in the upper part of the column 2 and the funnel-shaped upper lid 6 concentrating urine or washing water flowing from all directions in the center and dropping down on the lid 6, is provided in the upper part of the apparatus. Alien substances, such as phlegm, dust etc., are remained on the lid 6 and the above substances are stripped off by the washing water having a strong turbulent flow by colliding with conical side of lid 6 and then, is discharged from the washing water discharge outlet 8.
