Abstract:
To collect uranium, which is a metal in seawater, at low cost.
A reaction aid of sodium chloride is used on a biomass chip 2 and coupled to naturally-derived tannin. Uranium is adsorbed to a collecting material 1 formed by the chip 2 with the tannin coupled thereto, to collect uranium in seawater at low cost.
