PURPOSE: To realize a collection of the flying particles or particle group under a high-temperature atmosphere and with the form at the high temperature remained, by catching the particles by means of the noncombustible liquid beam accelerated in a high speed and by the impact force and the pressure of the liquid beam and then collecting these particles into the fixed container.
CONSTITUTION: The water current which is pressed up to 8kg/cm2 by the pump 11 is jetted at an optional position through the jet nozzle 9 and in the form of the beam 10 of 4mm to hit vertically the flow of the flying particles 8 in the high-temperature air current 7. Thus the group of flying particles is caught by the impact force and the pressure of the water beam 10, and then the beam 10 is collected into the fixed container 13. The particles 3 caught by the beam 10 is cooled down suddenly by a contact with the beam 10 and led immediately into the container 13 to be made to float in a large quantity of water. As a result, the particles can be collected in the state under which the form of the particle group at a high temperature is maintained in the high-temperature air current 7 caused by the melt-spraying device.
