Abstract:

To provide a collimating light guide plate, a diffusion unit, and a display device using it.

This diffusion unit is provided with a polarizing plate and a diffusion plate provided integrally on one surface of the polarizing plate without using an air layer between them. The polarizing plate and the diffusion plate are integrally formed to improve resolution, ensure a wide angle of visual field, prevent the occurrence of gray scale inversion of liquid crystal by utilizing the collimated light, and improve image quality by preventing color shift.
