Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision prevention device that has small numbers of components and can be easily maintained at low cost, which can prevent collision even when an object approaches obliquely a wall.SOLUTION: The collision prevention device comprises: distance measurement means 2 that has two electric wave sensors 3 which are attached to an upper portion and a lower portion of an object 13 and measure horizontal distance to a wall face 15 of a wall, in which the two electric wave sensors 3 are arranged so that measurement directions thereof are perpendicular in a planar view across a protruding portion 13a; and a determination portion 5 that determines a positional relation of the wall face 15 with the electric wave sensors 3 on the basis of the measurement result by the distance measurement means 2, determines a positional relation between the protruding portion 13a and the wall face 15 on the basis of the determined positional relation of the wall face 15 with the electric wave sensors 3 and a positional relation of the protruding portion 13a with the electric wave sensors 3, and determines a risk that the protruding portion 13a can collides with the wall face 15 on the basis of the determined positional relation between the protruding portion 13a and the wall face 15.
