To reproduce a color adjustment result which is similar to that of performing color adjustment in a device-independent color space without performing color adjustment in the device-independent color space.
A color adjustment device comprises: a conversion part 214 which converts color values of CMYK color spaces in a color conversion table defining a correspondence relation between color values of RGB color spaces and the color values of the CMYK color spaces into color values of L*a*b* color spaces independent from an output device; a map storage part 216 which stores multiple LUTs defining different input/output characteristics according to the color values of the L*a*b* color spaces; and a change part 222 which selects at least one LUT from among the multiple LUTs according to an instructed adjustment method, and performs change processing to change the color values of the CMYK color spaces in the color conversion table using the at least one LUT.
