To provide color-erasing ink for inkjet printing and a method for erasing color in pressure-sensitive paper enabling to erase color-developed characters, stains or the like instantaneously or more quickly than conventional color-erasing ink, and to provide a method for manufacturing pressure-sensitive paper.
This color-erasing ink for inkjet printing for the pressure-sensitive paper contains methyldiethanolamine, and comprises e. g. 5 wt.% methyldiethanolamine and 95 wt.% ethanol. By applying the color-erasing ink for the pressure-sensitive paper to the area of color-developed characters, stains or the like on the pressure-sensitive paper through an inkjet system, the color-developed area can be erased instantaneously or more quickly than conventional color-erasing ink. Thereby working efficiency by a user of the pressure-sensitive paper can be improved, and at the same time, manufacturing efficiency of slips or the like using the pressure-sensitive paper can be improved when the manufacturing procedure involves a color-erasing step.
