CONSTITUTION: The coloring layer 2 has the duty to execute the chromaticity adjustment of the luminescent color of a fluorescent display tube, and used to stick two sheets of plastic film 1a and 1b and incorporates a colorant in resin. When sufficient adhesive strength is not obtained only by the coloring layer 2, a bonding layer may be provided. Then, the transparent adherent layer 4 consisting of acrylic resin, urethane resin, polyester resin, silicone resin, etc., and the peeling film 5 are formed on one surface of the plastic film 1b in order. In this way, the color filter for the fluorescent display tube having no any fear of falling of the coloring layer, and also having no any fear of discoloration and color degradation of the coloring layer and having a fixed color over a long period of time is obtained.
