To provide an inexpensive color filter substrate with high reliability in which the color balance of red, green and blue colors on the display screen does not change even when the observation angle by an observer to the display screen is changed, and moreover, to provide a method for manufacturing the aforementioned substrate, and a liquid crystal panel excellent in color display characteristics by using that color filter substrate.
The color filter, the method for manufacturing the color filter and the liquid crystal panel have such features that when the weight of each color material included in the three color pixels is compared in the color filter having three color pixels of red, green and blue pixels, the weight of the color material in the green pixel is heaviest and is 2 to 4 times as the weight of the color material included in the smallest amount.
