Abstract:

To provide a color image forming apparatus capable of improving visibility of an image printed on a recording medium in a color other than white.

An MFP includes a printer capable of printing a color image on a recording medium. When the color of a recording medium is other than white (YES in S136), if print data is data for color printing (YES in S132), the MFP creates image data for monochrome printing (S138, S133), and causes the printer to print a monochrome image (S134).
