To provide a color image forming device that prevents a color change in a multiple transfer intermediate transfer system or a multiple development system, which uses a small-particle diameter toner.
In the color image forming device, an image writing data creating means has an image writing data correcting means. When a color toner image is formed by superimposing two or more toner layers in yellow and/or magenta and/or, cyan, and/or black, toner that forms a toner image which is the lowermost layer on an image forming body is regarded as A toner, the proportion of the amount of A toner attached to the surface of the image forming body is regarded as A1, and the proportion of the desired amount of A toner attached to the surface of the transfer material is regarded as A2. The image writing data correcting means corrects image writing data so that the proportion A1 of the amount of A toner attached to the surface of the image forming body is larger than the proportion A2 of the desired amount of A toner attached to the surface of the transfer material.
