Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a high definition color image without color shippage by making up for reduction in the density of each color due to the decrease of transfer efficiency in a multitransfer or batch transfer process.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for forming a color image on a recording medium in such a manner that a process for forming the toner image of each color component on a photoreceptor drum 2 and then, transferring the image to an intermediate transfer medium 1 is repeated several times, to form the color image on the intermediate transfer medium and then, the color images are transferred to a recording substrate altogether, each color toner is superimposed in order that the toner having a high unwanted absorbing component concentration is placed in a lower layer on the recording substrate, so that the reduction in the density of each color due to the decrease of the transfer efficiency in the multitransfer or batch transfer process is made up, to form the high definition color image without the color shippage.
