PURPOSE: To obtain a color printer with many expression colors using the ordinary paper by using an ordinary color toner requiring no nucleus of a color filter as the color toner obtaining a color image via one-shot exposure.

CONSTITUTION: The light intensity IR is the light quantity generating the reduction of the electrostatic force sufficient to peel a toner from an electrophotographic photoreceptor in the developing process, the magenta toner M and the yellow toner Y are peeled from the electrophotographic photoreceptor in the developing process, and only the cyan toner C can be left on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor. When only one kind of the color toner permeating no exposure color is selectively left on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor and transferred on the output paper, a color image with the additive complementary color to the exposure color can be formed on the output paper. The color toner image on the surface of the photoreceptor is compressed to improve the image concentration and formed as the image on the output paper. The high-quality color image can be obtained on the ordinary paper via one exposure.
