Abstract:
PURPOSE:To excellently correct time base variation occurring in a color multiplexed signal by storing inputted color multiplexed signals in an amount equivalent to one horizontal scanning cycle, then reading them out during the following one horizontal scanning cycle in inverse addresses, and adding them, with a suitable polarity, with signals generated by differentiating the inputted color multiplexed signals. CONSTITUTION:In case output signals from an image pickup tube 2 are signals in an odd-number-th horizontal scanning period, signals in one horizontal scanning period outputted from a low-pass filter LPF are differentiated by a differentiating circuit DfC to generate diffential signals which are supplied to a subtraction circuit SUB as minuend signals. The minuend signals are the differential signals of the signals in the immediately preceding one horizontal scanning period that are read out from a one-line memory LM 2 in inverse addresses mentioned in the PURPOSE, these signals are generated from the signals in the immediately preceding even-number-th horizontal scanning period. For output signals from the image pickup tube 2 that are the signals in an even-number-th horizontal scanning period, a similar processing is executed.
