Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the image-pickup of a clear still picture by tilting the longitudinal direction of respective filter fine stripes of a stripe filter against the directions of scanning lines, and switching and executing interlaced scanning and non-interlaced scanning. CONSTITUTION:The longitudinal direction of respective filter fine stripes F1-F3 of the stripe filter are constituted so that they tilt against the directions of the scanning line n1, n+1.... Fundamental wave component signal is arranged in a luminance signal band, and the fundamental wave component signal and the luminance signal are respectively separated with using vertical correlation. If color multiple frequency is set the same as the conventional one, the luminance signal band can be extended as twice as the conventional one. Thus, the resolution can be improved.
