Abstract:
To provide a color image processing apparatus that reduces the consumption of coloring material used to form a color image with a highly useful index as a reference.
A color image processing apparatus of the present invention performs image processing on image data of an input color image and outputs the resulting data; and change the gradation value of each color of the color image so that the conversion result when the image data of the color image is converted to the coloring material amount is the same as the amount based on the conversion result when the image data is color converted by a predetermined color conversion method and further converted to the coloring material amount.
