Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image processing method, a color image processing program, an object recognition method, and an apparatus that are robust to changes in light source such as illumination light.SOLUTION: In a color image processing method for performing template matching on a color image as a target image, using at least one template image, matching is performed by using the similarity of the color histogram in each block region in which the template image is divided into a plurality of blocks. When the number of pixels in the block area is N as a color histogram, a luminance colorimetric vector obtained by sorting N color vectors existing for each color of R (red), G (green) and B (blue) in order of magnitude of pixel values is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
