Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the compactness and handiness of a device by shortening an optical path, by providing two sheets of dichroic mirrors on a light source side and a projec tion side respectively by crossing them, arranging a pair of total reflecting mirrors oppositely on both sides of both mirrors, and furthermore, arranging a liquid crystal panel on a side 3 and attaching a color filter at least on a central liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:The white light of a power source 13 passes through a convergence lens 14, the beam of light R and most of a beam of light B are reflected by the dichroic mirrors 15 and 16 of a red color R and a blue color B being made incident crossed on the dichroic mirror at a first stage, and the beam of light G is transmitted, and it passes a color filter 17 for a color G, and advances linearly. At the dichroic mirror at a second stage, a green color G is transmitted similarly as the above, and the beams of light B and of light R are reflected on the dichroic mirrors 21 and 20, then they are converged on one optical axis, And it is inputted to a screen 9 after reflecting on the total reflecting mirror 5, and transmits the liquid crystal panel 7, then, it is visualized.
