Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reproduce a color image with a proper image density, without loosing color balance even if an image density is lowered among the developers of each color, regardless of the fact that a toner concentration is almost a prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: When a color balance detecting circuit 63 detects the fact that the color balance is abnormal, regardless of the fact that the toner concentration is almost the prescribed value, a second CPU 60 reads the color of toner to be forcibly consumed and a developing bias changing value, from a second lock-up table T2, and executes processing for forcibly consuming the toner, based on the data obtained by the reading.
