PURPOSE: To improve heat resistance by bonding a glass substrate, to which an inorganic color filter is formed, with the surface of a solid-state image sensor at least partially by low melting-point glass.
CONSTITUTION: A light receiving section active region in a solid-state image sensor 1 and color filters to which inorganic color filters 3 having three primary colors i.e. R (red), G (green) and B (blue) formed to a glass substrate 2 and shaped are positioned, and the color filters are fused to the surface of the solid- state image sensor 1 through heat treatment at 400∼500°C by low melting-point glass 4 partially formed to the end section of the glass substrate on an inert region or shaped to the whole surface and consisting of lead glass, etc.
