Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably produce a color liquid crystal display panel with high mass productivity by forming a region consisting of a dummy color filter layer, flattening layer and dummy electrode in the lower part of a sealing part, thereby making the gap between the central part and peripheral part of a panel the same and making it possible to form the spacers in the panel and the spacers in the seal to the same grain size regardless of the thickness of color filter layers.
CONSTITUTION: This color liquid crystal display panel has the structure obtd. in the following manner: The flattening layer 15 is not formed in the region on the outside of the sealing part 22 of a first substrate 30 and a region where first pattern electrodes 17 of the sealing part 22 of the first substrate 30 are formed. The flattening layer 15 is formed in the region on the inner side of the sealing part 22 of the first substrate 30 and the region where the first pattern electrodes 17 of the sealing part 22 of the first substrate 30 are not formed. The flattening layer 15 of the sealing part 22 is formed with the dummy color filter layer 14 thereunder. The flattening layer 15 is provided with the dummy electrode thereon.
