Abstract:
To surely perform density management of a specific color image by using RGB type imaging means.SOLUTION: A color management device of a printer comprises: actual measurement solid density value calculation means 13 which calculates an actual measurement solid density value from data captured by imaging means 6; a spectroscopy instrument 8 which measures a target specific color image; target solid density value calculation means 14 which calculates a target solid density value from the measurement data of the spectroscopy instrument 8; solid density value conversion means 15 which converts the first actual measurement solid density value having the waveband overlapped on the first target solid density value with the highest value of the actual measurement solid density value into the first equivalent solid density value equivalent to the first target solid density value or converts the second actual measurement solid density value having the waveband overlapped on the second target solid density value with the second highest value into the second equivalent solid density value equivalent to the second target solid density value; and opening adjustment means 17 which adjusts the ink fountain key opening on the basis of the difference between the first equivalent solid density value and the first target solid density value or the difference between the second equivalent solid density value and the second target solid density value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
