Abstract:

To select the color of a crown restoring material matching with the color of an objective natural tooth at the time of using the crow restoring material instead of the natural tooth cut in the oval cavity of a patient.

At the time of selecting the color of the crown restoring material matching with the color of the objective natural tooth 4 by comparing the color samples 1, 1, or the like, of a color guide 2 in which a plurality of color samples 1 for crown restoring materials are arranged with the color of the natural tooth 4 in the oval cavity of the patient, the color of the crown restoring material of the guide 2 matching with that of the objective natural tooth 4 is selected by only extracting the brightness or color of each crown restoring material matching with that of the natural tooth 4 by using a color matching filter 5 to which only the brightness or color of each color sample 1 matching with that of the tooth 4 is added. Consequently, the color of the crown restoring material matching with that of the objective natural tooth 4 can be selected.
