Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily monochrome convert a page description language program including a color description, to attain a color output by monochrome-processing the converted page description language program of the monochromatic description, and to attain a color correction at a high speed.
CONSTITUTION: In a definition adding part 2, a monochromatic conversion definition adding part 2-1 adds a definition for converting the color description into the monochromatic description having only monochromatic values of respective primary colors, or a color correction definition adding part 2-2 further adds a definition related with a color correction to the definition for the monochromatic conversion to a page description language program 1 including the color description in a prescribed color destination system using prescribed plural primary colors. Then, a monochromatic interpreter 3 interprets the page description language program to which those difinitions are added, and develops it into monochromatic image data. Then, the signal image data are synthesized, and outputted as color output data.
