Title:
COLOR PATTERN COATED FILM AND FORMING METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3614185
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and rapidly form a coated film with a color pattern, by coating a paint on a cylindrical or a columnar body like a fishing rod or a golf club shaft and coating another color paint to superpose it thereon while the paint has fluidity to give the flow and the splash force and forming a color pattern.
CONSTITUTION: When a two-color pattern of a coating film 14S having a first color and a coating film 16S having a second color is formed on a fishing rod 20, an undercoat layer 12 by clear painting like an epoxy resin is formed first on the rod body 10. After curing, a first paint layer 14 having a part painted to form a required ring-shape and a part painted to form a spotted zone is formed. Then, while this paint has a fluidity, a second color paint is applied to superpose it thereon to form a second paint layer 16. Next, the rod body 10 is rotated at a high speed to splash the paint layer 16 superposed on the paint layer 14 due to the centrifugal force to expose the paint layer 14. Or the rod body is rotated at a different revolution to splash the paint layers 14, 16 and form a thin and uniform coated film.
