Abstract:
To provide a color picture processor having a back printing removal function in which erroneous judgment of an original type processing due to back copying is improved and an original type can precisely be judged even if an original is in any type, and to provide a color picture processing method and a program.
A back copying component is removed at first based on edge intensity detection and a color threshold processing and on digital original picture obtained by digitally inputting one face of the original which is color-printed on both faces of paper. Then, picture data from which the back-copying component is removed is used and an original type judgment processing is performed.
