Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation by displaying a message of loading state, type and residual quantity of ribbon on a means for displaying a printer image.
SOLUTION: A monitor television 3 is connected with a color video printer 1 so that a reproduced image and an image to be printed can be viewed and various messages from the color video printer 1 can be displayed. After an ink ribbon cassette is inserted by opening a cover 1a and when a residual button at an operating section 2b related to print operation of a key unit 2 is depressed, the type of ribbon and the residual number of sheets are displayed on the monitor television 3. Since loading state, type and residual quantity of ribbon are displayed on the monitor television 3 for displaying an image to be printed, a convenient printer can be attained.
