PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for control of ink ribbon consumption and prevent an ink ribbon from running out while in use, by using an ink ribbon pack comprising a printing paper contained in an ink ribbon loop body consisting of an endless loop of a sheet-by sheet type ink ribbon.

CONSTITUTION: An ink ribbon pack 10 comprises an ink ribbon loop body 12 consisting of an endless loop of a sheet-by-sheet type ink ribbon 11 having a plurality of color regions necessary for forming at least one color image, and one sheet of printing paper 13 cut to a predetermined size is disposed in the ink ribbon loop body 12. The ink ribbon 11 has three color regions, i.e., a yellow region 11a, a magenta region 11b and a cyan region 11c, and is stored in a flat state with the magenta region 11b, for example, folded in two. The ink ribbon loop body 12 is broadened by a guide roller 21, a rotary drum 23 is inserted into the broadened inside of the loop body 12, the printing paper 13 is wrapped around the drum 23, which is rotated in one direction, and synchronously with this, the loop body 12 is moved in the same direction by a driving roller 22.
