Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a color separation prism device in which the addition of a light beam shielding part by post-processing is reduced, whose cost is low, and which has excellent characteristic as a color separation prism device used for a video camera and a video movie camera, etc.
CONSTITUTION: By providing a notch 14 being the light beam shielding part formed by the outside shape of a prism 7 and the bonding surface of prisms 8 and 9, an unnecessary light beam is shielded so as not to reach a blue light receiving part 4 and a red light receiving part 5.
