The color solid state imaging device comprises: the output circuit 42 for outputting the G pixel signals based on the G pixel signal charges to the multiplexer 5 and the output circuit 41 for outputting the other color pixel signals based on the other color pixel signal charges other than the G pixel signal charges to the multiplexer 5, switches the input timing of start signals for instructing pixel signal output from the respective output circuits for each row and turns a pixel signal string outputted from the multiplexer 5 to the one according to the Bayer array.
