Abstract:
To simplify a device and reduce cost of a color tone measuring device and method, a color tone management device, and a printer.
The color tone measuring device includes: a translucent light diffusion sheet D which covers a surface of a print sheet S; light emitting elements 22, 23 which irradiate light to the translucent light diffusion sheet D; a light receiving element 24 which receives scattered light reflected from the print sheet S through the translucent light diffusion sheet D; and a measurement part 25 which measures a color tone of the surface of the print sheet S based on the scattered light received by the light receiving element 24.
