PURPOSE: To obtain bright full-color images having a high image density and glossiness with good fixability by incorporating a thermoplastic resin, charge control agent and coloring agents into the toner and forming the thermoplastic resin and the charge control agent of specific compds.

CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin is the high-polymer compd. contg. the monomer expressed by formula I or II as its constituting unit and the number average mol. wt. Mn and weight average mol. wt. Mw thereof satisfy 600≤Mn≤12,000, 2.0<Mw/Mn<3.5. The charge control agent is the compd. expressed by formula III. In the formulas I, II, R1, R3 or CH3, R2 signify 1 to 17C alkyl group or phenyl group; R4 signifies 1 to 4C alkyl group. In the formula III, R5 to R8 respectively signify H or 1 to 10C alkyl group; X+ is paired ions and signifies hydrogen, ammonium, etc. The bright full-color images having the high image density and the high glossiness are obtd. with the good fixability in this way.
