To provide color toner made excellent in transparency and color reproducibility and good in fluidity, having sufficient fixing property and offset resistance, applied to a fixing device where oil is not used for a fixing member, further restraining the occurrence of filming and made excellent in durability, and its producing method and an image forming device.
As for the color toner made by adding at least titania as an additive to the base particles incorporating at least binding resin, a colorant and a release agent, the average dispersion diameter (Dc) of the colorant in the toner is ≤0.5 μm, and the release agent is incompatible with the binding resin. Assuming that the weight average diameter of the color toner is D4, the average dispersion diameter of the release agent in the toner is Dw, Dw satisfies the relation of 0.05≤Dw/D4≤0.4, and the free rate of titania is 0.5 to 5%. The circumferential speed of the edge of a stirring blade at the time of kneading is 15 to 35 m/sec and the mixing time of the additive with the base particles is at least ≥50 sec in this color toner producing method. Then, such color toner is used in this image forming method.
