Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorant, a composition and a toner for electrostatic charge image development that can form a smooth glossy surface and can form an image with excellent reflectance and a metallic glossy feeling.SOLUTION: A colorant contains at least a waxy dye having an alkyl group. When a complex refractive index of the colorant is expressed by N=n-i×k (n is a refractive index, k is a coefficient of the imaginary part), the coefficient k of the imaginary part is 0.5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
