Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for obtaining a color filter having excellent storage stability and high contrast and a method of producing the same, and a coloring composition using the same.SOLUTION: This invention provides a method of producing a colorant obtained by the reaction between a phthalocyanine compound with an OH group bonding to the central metal and a reaction reagent represented by the formulae (2) and (3), where Z1 is -POR1R2, -COR3, or -SO2R4; Z2 is a substituent different from Z1, representing -POR5R6, -COR7, or -SO2R8; W1, W2 independently represent a halogen atom or a hydroxy group.
