To provide a simple colored gypsum board at low cost, by which on-site coating can be omitted and refuse and dust are not collected easily.

The colored gypsum board is constituted in a sandwich shape that both surface and rear of gypsum 1 as a core are covered with boxboards 2, 3. Pattern-less coloring is executed beforehand onto the surface 2a of at least the surface-side boxboard 2, and the surface 2a is colored. White is mainly used as the kinds of the coloring, and approximately arbitrary two colors may also be employed with the exception of white. The coloring may also be executed only on the surface side of the board. The coloring can also be executed on the surface side and rear side of the board. When both surface and rear are colored, the kinds of the coloring may also differ on the surface and rear of the board.
